Since 1st July 2004 changed tariff times are in force, defined by the Decree on the tariff system for the sale of electric power (OJ RS no. 36/04) and by the Act on the Selection of methodology for network charges and methodology for the definition of network charges and criteria for determining eligible expenditures for electric power networks (OJ RS, no. 121/2005).
The provisions of this decree are in force for household consumers and consumers with guaranteed supply of electric power.
The key novelty of the new tariff system is the termination of the afternoon smaller tariff (between 1 pm and 4 pm) and its introduction on Saturdays and public holidays.We differ between three tariff times: smaller daily tariff (MT), bigger daily tariff (VT), and uniform tariff (ET). The smaller and bigger daily tariff are read by the in-built two-tariff counter, while the uniform tariff is read by the one-tariff counter. Household consumers in the basic package 1 cannot choose between two-tariff and one-tariff measuring, since this basic package includes only one-tariff measuring of electric power. Household consumers in the basic packages 2 and 3 have a stationed counter which enables one-tariff and two-tariff measuring of electric power.
According to the decree on the tariff system for the sale of electric power (OJ RS no. 36/04), the arrangement of daily tariff times is the following:
VT – bigger daily tariff, read by the two-tariff counter each working day from 6 am to 10 pm.
MT – smaller tariff is a tariff read by the two-tariff counter each working day from 10 pm to 6 am of the following day, each Saturday, Sunday, and on each public holiday from 0 am to 12 pm.
ET – is a uniform tariff read by the one-tariff counter each day 0 am to 12 pm.
The calculation of the electric power supply according to the changed tariff times is dependant on the ability of configuring the control device or the switchboard counter.
For switchboard counters which do not enable the adjustment of public holidays and summer time, the time of the smaller tariff is considered in accordance with the sun clock and with the ability of daily, weekly, and yearly adjustments of the device to Saturdays, Sundays, and public holidays. In this way, the smaller tariff is measured:
If you would like to use the smaller tariff also on public holidays, you can order the digital switchboard counter TKM8.
The two-tariff measuring of electric power use is enabled in the basic package 2 and the basic package 3. In these consumption places a two-tariff counter is installed. The markings in the two-tariff counters for bigger and smaller daily tariff differ in various models. They appear in one of the following shapes:
= VT
= MT
or
T1 = VT
T2 = MT
or
1 = VT
2 = MT
